Just tried Mass Effect 3 multiplayer for the first time.

So much confusion - none of my buttons were mapped where I was used to them being, there were no little red dots telling me where my enemy was, and my cooldowns were *insanely* long!

I had a lot of fun though, so I persisted, leveling very very slowly, and after 45 minutes, was a level 2 soldier, knew where my key bindings were, and thought I’d check out how many credits (which you earn by playing), a Recruit Pack (which is a very, very small upgrade) would be.

The recruit pack is 5000 credits.  I earned 2325 in 45 minutes - where two of those games I was on my own.

But lo and behold!!  You can buy a Premium Spectre Pack with Bioware points! 800 Bioware points cost 10 bucks.  This is a quarter of that.

So, basically, upgrading your weapons and ammo doesn’t depend on leveling up at all, it depends if you’re willing to spend 2 bucks.

Now I know why my son is always broke playing League of Legends.
